Public Works Capital Projects plans, designs and inspects capital improvement
projects for Washington County. Buildings, roads, bridges, drainage facilities,
parks, traffic signalization, and railroad crossings are various types of

for determining funding sources, local, state and federal; managing the
expenditures; and performing final project closeout. |

The Gaming Office issues wholesale, operator, and temporary

Public Works Land Development Review reviews and approves the designs
and performs limited construction inspections of private developments. This
is accomplished by our review of the subdivision plats and site plans submitted
to the County through the Planning
Department. We also perform driveway and utility inspections
within the County right-of-way typically associated with those developments
and manage the County's Stormwater
Management Program by reviewing, approving, and inspecting all
stormwater management ponds constructed. |
