LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING
So did the title get your attention? The Sheriffs Department will be working with the education program to schedule a date to provide education related to scene preservation. This does not mean we will become police officers; we will not be doing their job. This simply means they will provide us with some education regarding the situations we respond to and the things we can do to assist in assuring good service delivery, and caring for the patient. Caring for the patient exceeds the response, assessment, treatment and transport; it often requires us to be advocates and witnesses. If your department is interested in the training session please contact the EMS Coordinator.
